Spotted via Vulture, check out the latest and by far weirdest (if, strangely, the most functional) piece of Lady Gaga-approved memorabilia: the “Armitage Shanks,” a Lady Gaga signed urinal.

The above urinal, is showing at London gallery SHOWstudio. Gaga herself stopped by to pose with this piece of bathroom art (see here), which she has inscribed with the profane, if esoteric quip: “I’m not f—ing Duchamp but I love pissing with you.”

It’s a reference to Marcel Duchamp, the Dadaist artist who made his own famed piece of urinal art called “The Fountain.” That Lady Gaga, always mixing high and low culture, with a dash of commercialism.

But even the biggest little monsters can have a few reservations about their Mama Monster. See why he hopes Lady Gaga goes back to her “Fun Gaga” roots on her next album.

All those in favor of Gaga moving on to the next one, PAWS UP! Being the good little monster that I am, I’m patiently awaiting her new album, which is rumored to be released in the spring of 2011. But mainly I’m just praying that she goes BACK to her glittery roots. I want the lighthearted, fun, bubble gum and lipgloss, Gaga back. And I want her back now.

Please don’t get me wrong. I mean this in the most respectful of ways, Mama Monster, but… you’re starting to scare me, girl! This love we have is becoming nothing more than a bad romance, and not the sparkly Alexander McQueen kind. I miss the days of the beautiful and dirty rich Gaga who had such a bad-ass attitude and lust for life that she burned money. The Gaga who was like… “You know what, f—–s? Relax. JUST. DANCE.” She was all like, “Yeah, I can’t see out of these custom-made glasses constructed of old iPod screens, but who cares? Can’t read my poker face anyway, boyyyyyy.” I’m sorry, but I like to just be beaten over the head with messages found in the music that I listen to. I prefer Gaga when she just tells me straight up that she don’t want no Paper Gangster, you know? That way there’s no room for misinterpretation, and we all end up spray tanned and happy and on the same glitter-covered page. I NEED THAT, GAGA! I MISS THAT, GAGA! Paper Gangster = BAD, Glitter = GOOD.

Fun Gaga was simple and hot like Mexico. Current Gaga is multi-dimensional and mad deep. Which makes me wonder, why so serious?! Gaga says to dance in the dark. Ok, but… I CAN’T because I’m a-scared! I’m still trippin’ off seeing “Paranormal Activity” when it came out LAST October!! I can’t turn off my lights without seeing monsters in my bed eating my heart and brain and then blowtorching the rest. But then later, after watching my dearly beloved “It’s On With Alexa Chung,” I find out that “Dance In The Dark” is simply a metaphor for those of us with low self-esteem and shiz. A META-WHAT?! That is just TOO much for me. But what about all those innocent people who missed the Alexa Chung interview? How will they know the secret meaning?! HOW WILL THEY SURVIVE?! They won’t. They’ll just be dancing around alone in their pitch-black rooms, waiting for Gaga to get back to the sparkle. And don’t EVEN get me started on this “Alejandro” dude, because I’ve about had it with him. Gaga is still talking about him after she ditched him but… she just can’t be with him like this anymore!! And here I am thinking we weren’t supposed to fall in love with paper gangsters. Mr. Jandro is the original paper gangster. Alejandro is the O.G. of P.G.s!

Not-Fun Gaga asks if we could fix you if you were broke. If you were broke, Original/ Fun Gaga would not be concerned. She’d simply tell the boys to line up for the dance and bring their fancy pants because there’d be disco in the air and hairspray EVERYWHERE. She wouldn’t have the time to worry about fixing anything except her lipstick. THAT’S the Gaga I love. The Gaga I yearn for is the one who struts down the street in a summer blue romper, cherry cherry boom-boom blonde with skin a shade of orange that Snooki can only dream of. Not the one who’s channeling that demonic Easter Bunny my mother forced me to have breakfast with when I was a child, who’s bleeding all over the stage at Rockefeller Center… where SANTA lives might I add!!

So, Glitter-Fun Gaga, please come back! I want to taste cherry pie and glitter mixed with rock’n’ roll again! My tummy is starting to hurt from all this high-fructose corn-syrup-based stage blood. Not to mention, it’s high in calories!! I had to prematurely replace my synthesizer and disco stick with my leather-studded vampire grills. I had to retire my hair bow. I washed off my spray tan and folded up my fancy pants to store them in my closet in hopes that, like acid-wash jeans, they make a comeback. I live for evolution, and I support my Lady in anything she does, but please Gaga, I’m begging you! For your next trick, please bring back a little glitter, and leave a couple of the dead tree branches and the blood-soaked Armani home.

After its stop in New York City, where Lady Gaga made it rain, Monster Ball rolled into Toronto last night, and Lady Gaga used the stage as a political platform to support all of Canada’s little gay monsters. She shouted out charities that support homeless gay youth, and she wrapped herself in Canada’s gay flag.

Gaga’s support of her gay fans should come as no surprise — she accepted her 2009 MTV Best New Artist VMA by dedicating her Moonman to God and the gays (watch the video)– and spoke out against discrimination at the National Equality March in Washington in October 2009. Okay, so TECHNICALLY rain is caused when water vapor is cooled by air and then condenses to form clouds which release that vapor in liquid form. (If earth science served me properly, and it probably didn’t.) BUT, really, who’d be surprised if Lady Gaga herself had the power to make it rain, which it did during her jazzy performance on the “Today” show in Rockefeller Center this morning.

Gaga opened with a cabaret-leaning version of the classic “Someone To Watch Over Me,” complete with smoky trumpet flourishes. And real smoke! Then she dropped the nightclub crooner set up and got into full-force Mama Monster mode with a cheerier “Bad Romance” as well as her new song, “You And I.” Oh, and the outfits — pure Gaga, and no super scandalous reveals — but G-rated for the mainstream crowd, which was packed with kiddies. Well, if you consider a plunging push-up bra with a cross over the nip to be G-rated. To each his own, we say.

Lady Gaga made a triumphant return to her old haunts of New York City last night, playing a homecoming show, of sorts, at the Big Apple’s most famed venue, Madison Square Garden.

Or shall we say, Madison Square Gaga, which is what the Lady rechristened the venue on her Twitter account, posting this preshow pic:

You can read all about the show itself over at MTV News. The show was reportedly an emotional return to New York for Gaga, as she recalled her childhood dreams of rocking the same stage that has hosted the likes of Elton John, the Rolling Stones and countless others.

But let’s get down to the really important stuff: the outfits.

While you were busy nom-ing hot dogs, listening to Miley, and ooh-ah-ing over fireworks, some of our favorite pop stars were, well, not doing that this July 4th weekend. Janet Jackson headlined the 2010 Essence Music Festival at the Louisiana Superdome in New Orleans. Apparently Janet, who clearly cannot stop looking amazing, absolutely buh-rought her hits, performing greatest hits and fan favorites from “Control” to “What Have You Done for Me Lately” to “You Want This,” “Miss You Much” and more.

Meanwhile, Lady Gaga, who can’t for the life of her stop performing, brought the Monster Ball to Atlantic City’s Boardwalk Hall Arena on July 4th, striking a very Madonna “Express Yourself” pose here, and saluted the MOST hardcore Gaga fan ever, who tattooed himself with Gaga and Beyonce’s “Telephone” likenesses.

Sir Elton John held his annual White Tie and Tiara Ball last night in Windsor, England. And what’s a girl to wear to the esteemed event, which raised millions of dollars for Elton John’s AIDS foundation? Well if you’re Lady Gaga — who also performed at Elton John’s ball — you wear a pearl-covered Latex Francesco Scognamiglio see-through dress with strategic cut-outs at your “Woohoo,” plus a white lace bra and undies (for good measure), an amazing blonde bouffant, and a bejeweled Viktor & Rolf catcher’s mask. Plus white, sky-high custom-made heels by Tatehana Noritaka — the same designer who made her footwear in the “Alejandro” video. But that’s all probably just obvious at this point, is it not?

Today, we’re taking a look at which of our favorite stars handles air travel the best. Let’s look at the evidence.

+ Miley Cyrus: We love Miley, but this is a lesson in how not to look at the airport. Here we see she who cannot be tamed, deboarding with her beau, Liam Hemsworth. The dour look on Miley’s face might be due to the presence of paparazzi, but I think it’s more likely got to do with Liam and Miley only having one laptop between them and Liam demanding they watched “300″ (again!) when Milers wanted to watch “The Proposal.”

+ Britney Spears: Aha! The ol’ master-of-disguise method. Who is that normal looking blonde girl wearing granny glasses and carrying what looks like a sewing machine or typewriter? Is she going to a party in the 1940’s? No! It’s Britney Spears! Fooled ya!

+ Jonas Brothers: Whoop! Whoop! It’s the sound of the Jonas Brothers arriving at the airport. Forget frowning your way through security check-in! The JB’s bring security to them! On motorcycles! Here we have the brothers Jonas on the tarmac at the Austin, Texas airport. Love how Kevin is dressed up as every single Tom Cruise movie character ever all at once.

+ Taylor Swift: This is how you do it. Taylor Swift, who just got off a flight to Japan in the above pic, looks like she just stepped out of the salon. And she’s got nothing but smiles for her fans. Bravo.

+ Lady Gaga: Konichiwa, Bitches! We weren’t gonna let this go by without pointing out the grand dame of airport fashion and style, Lady Gaga. Sure, she might have toppled over in London, but look at her turn Narita International Airport into a fashion show!
