That brightly lit vision above is none other than former child of destiny and current dance floor commander, Kelly Rowland. We’ve been charting her evolution pretty closely over the last few months, as Rowland has emerged out the R&B shadows and become something of dancing queen.

We’ve been enamored with Kelly’s recent collaborations with super producer David Guetta, which have led to the smash “When Love Takes Over” and “Commander.” While we anxiously wait for her new solo to drop, we’ll have to tide ourselves over with these amazing photos.

Here we have a visual buffet of absolutely spiffy pics of the fraternal trio Hanson. I use the word spiffy because it’s a wholesome, fun word and Hanson are a wholesome, fun bunch of guys (in case you missed the last 10 years).

It’s crazy how far Zac, Taylor and Isaac Hanson have come from their “MMMBop” days of world domination. Despite the incomprehensible amount of fame they experienced at a young age, the Hanson brothers seem like really cool, well-adjusted young men, as you can see from this new collection of MTV photos.

Sadly, Hanson decided not to rock their Blues Brothers suits, as they do in their awesome “Thinking ‘Bout Somethin’ ” video. But that is a small and petty problem, right?

In videos for songs such as “I’m Made Of Wax, Larry, What Are You Made Of?” and “The Plot To Bomb The Panhandle,” A Day To Remember has been shown to be one heavy band that doesn’t mind making light of itself. These exclusive MTV.com pics are no different.

Despite making hard-rocking yet melodic metal-core music, this Florida band knows how to have a laugh. And that’s exactly what they did during this shoot. Whether it’s a shot of guitarist Kevin Skaff dreaming of a six-string or singer Jeremy McKinnon holding a cartoon microphone, the band doesn’t take itself too seriously.

The above picture is not from Kanye West’s “Power” video shoot. It’s from his recent performance at the BET Awards. However, it does show you that Yeezy is cooking with some serious gasoline these days (as well as rocking some serious ancient Egyptian iconography around his neck).

You can find a couple of leaked pictures from the “Power” video shoot right here (via Ace Showbiz). Shooting commenced on his “Power” video this past weekend in New York City. And based on said leaked photos, we can deduce a couple of things about “Power.”

+ It might very well be set at a buffet table!
This is highly unlikely, given the high-concept thinking employed by Kanye when making his videos. But who knows, this clip could wind up being about a guy who has a lot of power… at the lunch table.

+ There will could be a cross-generational romance at the center of the story.
“Power” doesn’t mention any kind of younger-man-older-woman-romance in its lyrics, but the picture of Kanye at the buffet table with the slightly older lady suggest we could have the sequel to Harold And Maude on our hands.

+ There will probably be naked ladies.
I actually don’t have a joke for this. There will probably be naked ladies. One of the leaked photos is of a naked lady in body paint (also at the buffet table). Kanye West videos have featured naked ladies before. You could say it’s a go-to motif of his. Expect the expected in this one.

The music video for “Power” should arrive sometime this summer. Kanye’s new album, which may or may not be called Good Ass Job, is due out in September. Watch Kanye’s video for “Flashing Lights,” below.

Grammy-winning French band Phoenix, known for its transcendent lyrics and scholarly themes set to brilliantly lush orchestrations, brought its inimitable brand of aloof-yet-intimate alt-pop to MTV for an exclusive “Unplugged” performance. Set against a strikingly stark, cinematic white backdrop in a New York City studio (the edge of Hell’s Kitchen, to be exact), Phoenix performed an inimitably grand, gripping set to a devoutly rapt audience.

I JUST got back from Justin Bieber’s live MTV.com performance today (I sang “U Smile” the whole way back to the office), and seriously, it was nothing short of liquid gold. That voice is the equivalent of atomic number 79. But back to the show: it was just me, Justin Bieber (and Dan!), backed by the boys of Legaci, a small group of some VERY lucky fans (freaking out, as one does), and a couple of MTV cameras here in New York City. Highlights included, well, every song he sang, including his new single, “U Smile,” “Baby,” “Never Let You Go,” “That Should Be Me,” “One Time” and “One Less Lonely Girl.”

Can’t wait for Motion City Soundtrack’s U.S. tour in April? Well we can totally tide you over until then.

As previously mentioned, team Buzzworthy was embedded on the frontlines with camp Motion City Soundtrack when they played at the Fillmore New York at Irving Plaza with their pals The Swellers, This Providence and Set Your Goals. We got in deep to deliver a great preview feast of what will come in the Spring.

We hung out with the bands before and after the gig (see photos); recorded some of their sets (Motion City Soundtrack’s, plus all the opening band pals) and even interviewed the groups on various subjects from their musical influences and stage fright to being on the road. Here’s a taste of six MCS songs including, “Disappear” and “The Future Freaks Me Out.”

Apparently, Pete warned his fans and fashion onlookers that the show was going to be more of a spectacle than a straight-up clothing explosion, but that didn’t prepare the crowd for the homage to Hannibal Lecter. Despite the hushed gasps of the audience, Wentz’s enthusiasm for the show couldn’t be curbed. Pete even tweeted later, “Its gonna get crazier. I don’t care what people think anymore.” Looks like someone’s been hanging out with John Mayer too much. The fashion world is reeling today over the tragic death of British designer Alexander McQueen, fashion’s l’enfant terrible, who came up under the tutelage of his friend and idol, Isabella Blow, and was responsible for some of the most avant-garde fashions sent down the runway and red carpets on the Kate Moss (whose hologram eerily hovered over his the runway of his Fall/Winter 2006 show), Sarah Jessica Parker, Gwyneth Paltrow, and, most recently Lady Gaga.

We thought we’d pay tribute to Alexander McQueen’s untimely demise by showcasing our favorite McQueen looks on one of his biggest fans — Lady Gaga, whose “Bad Romance” single debuted during the end of Alexander McQueen’s Spring/Summer 2010 show in Paris. Obviously the love and adoration was mutual between these two icons.
